I could write an article the size of Fentanyl Floyd’s rap sheet on Media Watch’s distortions, but as I am popping the sites Blog cherry I will keep this brief; in the interests of SEO at the very least.
Last night I was treated to the 15 minutes Paul Barry spends each week justifying his 200k+ salary from the ABC, and caught a piece of “fact checking” that raised my suspicions. The following tweet was presented from an account claiming to represent America Antifa:
Barry then claimed that this was in fact an imposter account designed to incite the kind of riotous waves we have seen sweeping America and attribute this incitement to Antifa. Further, he claimed the account and tweet were the work of “a neo-Nazi white supremacist group called Identity Evropa, also known as the American Identity Movement.”
Call me presumptuous, but I knew that had to be bollocks (and not just from going by Barry’s phonetic mispronunciation of “Evropa”). As past CEO of IE Patrick Casey has pointed out, the source of this claim comes from a statement issued by an anonymous Twitter spokesman and not a shred of evidence was given linking the American Identity Movement to the account or the tweet.
Multiple media outlets pounced on the statement, including Media Watch. While they too offered no evidence, it is a safe bet they will not ever be retracting these bogus claims.
Of course, a cretin like Paul Barry will take any opportunity to smear White Nationalists, but there is likely to be a wider agenda here. Andrew Bolt has pointed out a string of comments coming from the ABC attempting to import the thuggery and lawlessness of the BLM “protests” from America to Australia. For example, JJJ’s James Purtill saying
Australians need to turn their outrage at police brutality in the US to action in their own backyard.
Well, it seems we got what they wanted, with tens of thousands flouting COVID-19 related restrictions in the name of what Daniel Andrews deemed “a worthy cause.” A riot also broke out in Sydney’s Long Bay Prison, with inmates spelling out the acronym “BLM.”
Like most in the liberal dominated media, the ABC has been completely reckless in promoting mob violence. Now, they pathetically try to pass that blame onto and further incite violence against those promoting the only true solution: racial separation.
